House rules
The house rules
These are the same rules you will find printed when you arrive. Nothing unexpected: they are there so that whoever comes after you finds the house exactly as you found it.
This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
1. Guests and occupancy
The property may be occupied only by the people named in the booking and in any case within the maximum capacity. Overnight stays by unregistered people are not permitted without prior authorisation. Minors must be supervised by a responsible adult.
2. Check-in and check-out
The check-in and check-out times communicated must be respected; any different requirement must be agreed in advance. At check-out the property, furnishings, equipment and inventory may be inspected. Keys must be handed back to the manager; if you leave without handing them over in person, and only by prior agreement, they must be left in the letterbox after closing the property properly.
3. Security deposit
Where the booking provides for one, a security deposit of €150 is required. The deposit is returned after the property has been inspected. In case of damage, missing items, lost keys or other faults attributable to guests, the amounts needed to cover the relevant costs may be withheld, without prejudice to compensation for any greater damage.
4. Care of the house and furnishings
Guests must treat the property, furniture, appliances and equipment with care. Moving furniture, mattresses or fittings without authorisation is not permitted. Any damage or malfunction must be reported promptly. Wipes, nappies, sanitary products or anything other than toilet paper must not be flushed down the WC.
5. No smoking
Smoking inside the property is strictly forbidden. Smoking is allowed outdoors using the containers provided. Any damage or extraordinary cleaning made necessary by breaching this rule may be charged.
6. Pets
Pets are allowed by prior agreement with the manager. A supplement of €50 per stay applies. Owners are responsible for their animal's behaviour and for any damage it causes.
7. Bed and bath linen
Bed and bath linen can be supplied on request at a cost of €15 per person per set. Additional changes can be requested on the same terms, unless otherwise agreed.
8. Quiet and respect for neighbours
Guests must respect the peace of the neighbourhood and avoid loud music, shouting, rowdiness and disturbing noise, particularly during resting hours. Parties and events are not permitted without prior authorisation.
9. Power, water and air conditioning
Please use water and electricity responsibly. When leaving the property, switch off air conditioning, lights and any appliances not needed. Leaving taps running needlessly, or using water and power improperly, is not permitted.
10. Waste sorting and rubbish
Separate waste collection rules and the instructions given at the property must be followed. Rubbish must be put out in the appropriate containers on the days, at the times and in the manner communicated. No incorrectly sorted rubbish may be left behind on departure.
11. Safety
The property is fitted with the safety equipment required by applicable law, including carbon monoxide and combustible gas detectors and portable fire extinguishers to code. Tampering with, removing, covering or disabling any safety device is forbidden. In an emergency, contact the emergency services immediately and inform the manager.
12. Keys and access
Keys must be kept carefully and must not be given to anyone outside the booking. If they are lost or damaged, inform the manager immediately. Documented costs for duplication, lock replacement or any necessary work may be charged. Forcing doors, windows or locks is forbidden.
13. Before you leave
Before leaving Dimora Vado guests must switch off air conditioning, lights and appliances; check that no personal belongings have been left behind; leave the kitchen and appliances in decent condition; put the rubbish out correctly; put away any equipment used; close doors and windows; and return the keys as agreed. The ordinary final cleaning does not remove the duty to leave the property reasonably tidy and clean.
14. Damage and liability
Guests are liable for damage caused during the stay by themselves or by the people and animals they are responsible for. Any accidental damage must be reported promptly, so that it can be properly assessed and dealt with.
15. Respecting these rules
Following these rules helps keep Dimora Vado welcoming and in good condition. Conduct seriously at odds with these rules will be handled according to the booking conditions and applicable law.
16. No charging of electric vehicles
Using the domestic electrical system of Dimora Vado — including indoor sockets, outdoor sockets, extension leads or adapters — to charge cars or other electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles is strictly forbidden, unless the manager has authorised it in writing beforehand. Breaching this rule will result, subject to the limits set by applicable law, in the withholding of the entire security deposit of €150, together with any charge for further documented damage or costs caused to the electrical system or to the property.
