A house for the whole year
The air conditioning handles July and August, the ducted pellet stove makes the house comfortable from October onwards. Salento out of season is a different thing: empty beaches, restaurants with no queue, different prices.
If you are thinking about a week in May, in September or an autumn long weekend, the house is ready.
Worth knowing
Safety
The house has carbon monoxide and combustible gas detectors and portable fire extinguishers to code, as required by Italian law for holiday lettings.
Security cameras
There are cameras outside, pointed at the entrance and the courtyard. There is no recording device of any kind inside the house.
Linen
Sheets and towels are available on request, at €15 per person per set. Ask when you book.
Final cleaning
It is included in the price of the stay: you do not have to leave the house clean on departure, only tidy.
